To ensure a comfortable and transparent stay, please note the following: - Attached Unit:** Our in-law suite is attached to our family home. As we have two young children, you may occasionally hear the sounds of family life. - Our Dog: We have a small, friendly dog named Bejie (a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix). He is very quiet but may bark a friendly hello when you first arrive. - Restricted Areas:** To give our children a private play area, our main backyard is reserved for family use and is not available to guests. - Laundry: There is no washer or dryer in the unit. A laundromat is located conveniently nearby for your needs. - Security: For your safety and ours, exterior security cameras are located at the front and side of the property.

Castro Valley is a small and peaceful family friendly suburb of San Francisco with great small town benefits but also easy access to the bigger cities. Within 15 minutes, in several different directions are the Japanese Gardens (a really nice place) as well as golf courses, lakes, parks and the Oakland Zoo.
Guest Access
Since we're a family (with two young children) we like to keep our backyard free for them to play, so it is not for share. However, Lake Chabot is only a mile away (walking distance) and a great place for a walk, hike, or even a bike ride. -Street parking -Free high speed Internet / WiFi Guests will enjoy complete privacy and exclusive access to the entire in-law suite. **Private Entrance:** Your own separate entrance allows you to come and go as you please. **Self Check-In Available upon request:** Convenient and easy self check-in process. **Restricted Areas:** Please note that our main backyard is reserved as a private play area for our three young children and is not available for guest use.

Bus route is only a short 1 minute walk, bart is about 5 minute drive and all major freeways are easily accessible. (580, 880, 92, 680). Uber and Lyft are usually here less than 5 minutes after requests.
